Professional Liability insurance
What is Professional Liability Insurance all about?
It's about managing risk, something business people do all the time, whether
they know it or not. Risk management is what you do to protect and secure
your assetsincluding probably your home and life savingsfrom
the chance that they could be lost or perhaps stolen through legal actions
brought about by a liability claim or even a frivolous lawsuit.
Even the smallest of business owners, whether a landscape
architect or anyone from the other green design professions, must include
Professional Liability Insurance in their business planning just as surely
as they would use investments when planning for retirement.
Why consider risk management and what's in it for the
individual professional?
Through no fault of your own, your business can get
soaked in a lawsuit that in fact is totally avoidable.
The experience, knowledge and other useful tools Leatzow Insurance shares with its member professional firms can protect
against all forms of these lawsuits.
Besides providing Professional Liability insurance,
Leatzow Insurance can show you how to avoid two of the most dangerous
business mistakes that many landscape architects make.
Leatzow Insurance provides its expert professional
support and other services to its Professional Liability insurance customers
at rates that are the lowest in the industry.

Professional vs. General Liability
Insurance
Professional Liability and general liability are two
completely different things. Professional Liability insurance covers your
work products, designs, construction documents, studies, opinions and
related work. It is separate and completely different than "general
liability" insurance that covers your office premises and the job
site. Most design businesses need both policies as they do not overlap.
